D.I.Y. Seashell Votive Holder

Summer is here! One of my favorite ways to decorate for the summer season is with seashells! They’re cheap (or free if you like to collect them at the beach!) and beautiful. Today, I’ll show you how to make this very simple votive candle holder to add to your summer decor!

You will need:
-1 small glass hurricane vase (I got mine from Dollar Tree… $1!!!)
-Decorative seashell
-Thin rope/twine
-Hot glue gun/glue

First, wrap a bit of rope around the bottom of the vase. You can use a dot of hot glue to hold the end in place if needed, or you can just tuck it under the rest of the rope and glue the other end in place.

Repeat the same process toward the top of the vase.

Put a drop of glue at the top of and bottom of the seashell, and place on the center of the vase.

And that’s all it takes! Fill with a bit of sand and add your votive candle! Simple but pretty!
